Rebecca Zepick

Musician

Rebecca Zepick lives in Wichita, Kansas and has been performing for more than 20 years. She studied music at Manhattan School of Music in New York City where she learned to use her voice to tell a story and entertain audiences. She continued her music and foreign language studies in Salzburg, Austria and at the Sorbonne Université in Paris, France.

Rebecca performs both classical and modern styles of vocal music for operas, weddings, religious services, and other private events. She is equally comfortable connecting with audiences on large stages or in small intimate spaces. As a mother of two children, she believes music and art should be enjoyed by people of all ages, no matter how young or old.

Rebecca also teaches young singers at her private studio in Wichita. She works to develop well rounded musicians who are educated in music theory, performance skills and foreign languages as well as healthy vocal technique.

Rebecca serves on the board of Opera Kansas and the Wichita Symphony. She has performed in music outreach events and fundraisers for local non-profits to help bring music to the lives of people in Kansas. She is also a member of the Zepick Modern Opera Competition selection committee that helps discover and bring new vocal works to the stage.

Rebecca also covered the arts community for the Wichita Eagle as freelance reporter writing about classical, jazz and ballet performances in Wichita. She worked as a digital reporter for KWCH-TV (CBS) and covered a variety of news stories including high school and professional performing arts events in Wichita.
